It is expected that the ICC Anti-Corruption and Security Unit (ACSU) final report on fixing scandals in Bangladesh Cricket to be delivered at the annual general meeting of the ICC at the Lord on June 26, said by the Bangladesh Cricket Board(BCB) president Nazmul Hassan Papon yesterday at the Mirpur Sher- e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

The BCB president Nazmul Hassan said that ACSU are still testing the reports. “Most probably It was being investigated by them after I met with them in the last time on June 2. It may  happen that since I will be going to the London to attend the ICC annual conference, then they could give the details report to me there.”

BCB president Nazmul Hassan was concerned about the possibility that the report reveals more names linked to the fixing. “What will happen if  there are more names on the ACSU report. I am not saying it’s there, but I pray to Allah that no other names are there.

“The day I have found out that someone like Ashraful is involved, and made a confession, I could not give priority to anything else than the ACSU report,” added Nazmul Hassan.

The BCB chief added that the ACSU report is likely to contain recommendations for the course of action to take against the guilty, but the final decision would be rest with the BCB.
