The Bangladesh Cricket Board had received a request from Cricket Ireland, inviting them to play an ODI Series, but their desire to have Bangladesh as their guests will not be fulfilled. Bangladesh Cricket Board has decided to reject the proposal from Cricket Ireland.
The chairman of Bangladesh Cricket Board’s cricket management, Enayet Hossain, has said on Tuesday, “Right now we have domestic games. All the players will not be available now as well. Under-19, Under-23 and “A” Teams are playing, that is why we cannot go to Ireland.”
Before the T-20 World Cup 2012 Bangladesh had received proposals to play an ODI Series against the Irish, but instead a T-20 series was played in request of the Bangladesh Cricket Board.
