Can Nazmul return in time to save Bangladesh fast bowling department?

nazmul-hossain-bangladesh-sri-lanka-dhaka-asi_2736637After completing a tedious operation on his left foot, the national teams promising left handed bowler is finally ready to return hope with in a jolly mood. The injury caused during a practice session during the tour against Sri Lanka has since then put Nazmul Hossain out of the activities of the national team. He is supposed make the landing this Thursday at the airport in Dhaka.

The head medical officer of the Banglaadesh Cricket Board, Debashish Choudhury, has said that due to damaging the cartilage in his left foot, Nazmul Hossain had to get this operation in Australia. Even though they had found his ligament to be a little more loose than it is supposed to be, nothing had been done to render that by the doctors in Melbourne.

Debashish has also said, “ It is hoped that Nazmul will be able to be back in the side, fit to play withing a maximum of 2 months. He is already attending ttraining sessions and starting to rehabiliate himself. He will be guided on his excercises by David Young.”

The fast bowling department of the Bangladesh cricket team had never been very strong, but recently Robiul and Nazmul hossain had shown that there might be hope there. Nazmul Hossain has played 38 ODI matches and taken 44 wickets, even though his place in the side was never permanent. It is being hoped that he can return to the side for the New Zealand tour to bring back some vitality and vigour to our fast bowling department.
