Club derangement in Dhaka Premier League

After lot of hassles, Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis (CCDM) was able to announce the date of player exchange and starting of Premier League this season. But all these seem to come in naught now due to some unwanted claims from different club officials.

Club officials were just claiming the budget grant which BCB President announced previously in the pre-fixed meeting of CCDM yesterday. They were asking when they will receive the money allotted for the clubs. The officials even claimed that the grant have to be discharged before the lottery of players would take place.

After this chaos, senior vice chairman of CCDM Mr. Hanif Bhuiya dismissed the meeting. Later Mr. Bhuiya said that representatives of only 6 clubs among the total 12 were present in the meeting in which by-laws of the tournament should be discussed. But the club representatives seemed to have more concerns about money than anything else.
