The team of representatives from ACSU (ICC anti corruption and security unit) that visited several times in Dhaka did not contain any high official from ICC. But now Chief Executive of BCB informed media that Chief Executive of ICC Mr. David Richardson may visit with the team of representatives that will come with the final report.
ACSU have prepared the report after investigating the corruptions in the second stage of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) for several months. BCB President Nazmul Hasan Papon told before Eid that ACSU representatives may visit in 12th or 13th of August. Now it is come to know that Media and communication Manager of ICC Mr. Samiul Hasan also accompany the team other than the Chief Executive. Together there will be four members in the representative team.
BCB’s CEO in charge Mr. Nizamuddin Chowdhury said, “Although we cannot have confirmations, we have come to know that the Media & Communication Manager and the Chief Executive of ICC will join the representatives in the team”.
Earlier BCB President informed that they will try to reveal the report in the media in front of those officials. It is noted that the ultimate fate of several cricketers including Muhammad Ashraful will be determined by this report.
