The team of representatives from ICC has visited the Sylhet Divisional stadium to watch the progress of construction work as a part of preparing it as a venue for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2014.
The observer team headed by Chris Tetley watched the progress of construction in galleries, flood lights, media center in the Stadium. Earlier the whole project has been presented before the team. The team has observed the whole stadium for two hours and talked with concerned authorities.
The four member team includes event manager Chris Tetley, tournament director Dhiraj Malhotra, consultant Van Duren Uzine and peach specialist Kien Singh. The team members expressed their satisfaction to journalists after completing the visit. They are expecting that the whole project will come to an end within the allotted time.
The team will submit their report to BCB in the coming week.
