National team skipper Mushfiqur Rahim seems little bit agitated about recent match fixing scandal in Cricket. He said, “We have a very important series ahead of us. In this situation we are all lacking concentration in cricket. I hope all these things will come to an end very soon and cricket will be back in a fair environment”.

The national team skipper told that cricket is a game where inspiration has to come within one’s self. “We are trying to boost up ourselves, hoping that everything will be fine soon”.

Mushfiqur Rahim is shocked by the incident of accusation of some cricketers including Mohammad Ashraful into the match fixing scandal. “I am really shocked. It is hard to believe that some of my teammates are involved in it. Earlier we might watched some of the star cricketers of other countries got involved in it, but it is for the first time in our country”- Mushfiqur added.

“Both ICC and BCB are there to take necessary steps. And I think it is a lesson for everyone including academies and age group teams.”

The national team is doing hard works in order to prepare themselves for the upcoming home series as they are not among matches since the last series against Zimbabwe.

Mushfiq informed that they are doing good home works before the home series against New Zealand in October- “Our preparation started before Eid. At that time we worked on fitness, now it is time for skill training. They have three left hander pacers in their team and we are trying to be prepared according to this. There are several left hander pacers in our under-19 team also. When the team will return they will join in the camp. It will add advantages for us”.

In the last home series against New Zealand, Bangladesh Cricket Team  white washed New Zealand in 4-0. Mushfiqur said they are expecting for another competitive series.

“At this moment kiwis are very good. They have just beaten England in their own soil. We are also running well. So there will be a very competitive series”- skipper added.

Although many controversies surround BPL now, Mushfiq stands for this tournament. But he wants a good solution of the payment and other problems in it.
