Due to finger injury, the no.1 ODI all-rounder, Shakib Al Hasan has to stay away from the field for three weeks.
The chief sports medical doctor of Bangladesh Cricket Board, Debashish Chowdhury said, “During a practice session in CPL on 18th August, Shakib got an injury on his left thumb. His X-ray has been done here. We detected a delicate fracture. He has to be out of the field for at least three weeks.”
After playing in England at Friends Life t20 and then attending the CPL t20, Shakib returned to Bangladesh on Monday. He said that he wanted to keep him active and fresh for the busy upcoming season by staying away from cricket for few days.
