Tamim and Ayesha on Masranga TVHard hitter opener Tamim Iqbal and his newly married wife Ayesha Siddqua spoke off about their ‘chemistry’ in a special program telecasted on ‘Masranga’ channel on the occasion of ‘Eid’.

Besides the everyday chemistry of the newly married couple, Tamim spoke about his cricketing life and therefore the ups and downs in a cricketer’s life.

About his stunning innings at the age of seventeen against India during 2007 World Cup Tamim remarked, ‘Prior to that match I had never played against a 140-145 km of bowling speed. I wondered whether those balls are visible or not’. But when the youngster step to the field and faced some initial deliveries he felt that it was nothing special to him; Tamim scored 51 off only 53 deliveries at that match which paved the way to our victory in that big match.

Tamim remembered the contribution of his father Late Iqbal Khan- ‘without him I am not here today where I am’ – Tamim mourned. The national team opener also remembered the timely contribution of his paternal uncle Akram Khan (the national selector now). Tamim said he would provide him some timely opportunities to play in the good team in domestic cricket.

The national team star told that it is common phenomenon in all cricketers’ life undergoing ups and downs. So he prefers to ‘keep him in a low profile all the time’. Video recorded by Taslim Mahbub!
