Victoria beat Kalabagan comfortably

Anamul Bijoy during practiceDefending champion Victoria sporting club is back on track defeating Kalabagan Krira Chakra by 85 runs. Victoria is in the 4th position in the point table and Kalabagan is in 10th.

During Tuesday’s match in Khan Shaheb Osman Ali stadium in Fotulla, Victoria won the toss and decided to bat first. But they couldn’t manage a big score as the innings was finished in 231 runs of 43.4 over’s.

Enamul Haque (84 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes) and Shalika Korunanayek (79 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes) both scored 70 runs respectively.

Jihan Mubarak of Sri Lanka took highest 3 wickets for Kalabagan.

In reply Kalabagan bundled out for 146 runs total. They lost their first 6 wickets for only 93 runs. Tasamul Haque scored highest 34 runs. No other batsmen reached 20s’ except Mahabubul Karim (26).

Kalabagan spinners single handedly grabbed all the wickets. Enamul Haque and Nasir Hossain took 3 wickets each while Monir Hossain and Milinda Shiribordhone took 2 wickets each.
