New Zealand cricket team and officials have arrived in Dhaka to play two-match Test series against Bangladesh. The 13-member first team landed in Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 12 noon. They are currently staying in Sonargaon Hotel. The team will leave on their way to Chittagong in Wednesday.
Bangladesh Cricket Board has not arranged any press conference in the airport on the request of the visiting Cricket Board. There will be no press briefing even in the Shah Amanat Airport in Chittagong. The visitors will meet the journalist on Thursday. However, the location has not yet been decided.
A 15 men team came for the Test series. They will be accompanied by 10 officials of the New Zealand team. Some of the team players are playing in Sri Lanka for New Zealand A team.
Besides, Brendon McCullum, Hamish Rutherford and Neil Wagner are playing the the Champions League for Otago. Their arrival date will depend on how far Orago survives in the tournament. If they reach the finals, these three players will join the team after October 6.
Kiwis will play two test matches, in addition with three ODIs and one twenty-20 against Bangladesh.
