In the Jagannath Hall playground of the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh won the toss on Tuesday and came to bat first. They put a huge total of 237 runs for the loss of four wickets in their stipulated 20 overs. [Read also: Tamim smacks new record]
In reply, India couldn’t score more than a meagre 127 runs for six, which sealed a 110-run victory for the local side,
For Bangladesh, skipper Foysal Khan Sumit starred with a brilliant unbeaten knock of 96. His 61-ball knock was decorated with 10 fours and one six. Other opener Amin Uddin made 60 runs off 42 balls with the help of 8 fours and a six. Among the Bangladeshi bowlers, Sujaul and Moazzem took two wickets each.
Foysal Khan Sumit became the man of the match.
The final match of the tournament will be held at the same ground on April 20 (Thursday).
