After the sudden decision of Mashrafe Mortaza‘s retirement from T20Is, it was the common question among the cricket fans of Bangladesh that who would be the next captain of Bangladesh. Finally, the long-awaited question see it’s answer on friday as Shakib Al Hasan is named as the new captain of Bangladesh cricket team in T20Is. Now, he will lead Tigers in T20Is. On Saturday after the meeting of executive committee of Bangladesh Cricket Board it has learnt that from now three captains are being formed to lead Bangladesh in the international arena.

Nazmul Hasan Papon, the president of Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced the name of Shakib Al Hasan as the new captain of Bangladesh in T20 format. It was expected because during the Sri Lanka series, he told journalists that Shakib Al Hasan is the ultimate choice of the board as the skipper.

To be noted, Shakib led Bangladesh in all three formats of cricket. So, this tasks is not new for the best all-rounder of the world. Bangladesh Cricket Board believes that he can be able to change the current scenario of Bangladesh cricket in T20 format and lead the side in a new arena.
