BCB retains Khaled Mahmud as the manager

Within a few weeks of time, ICC Champions Trophy and tri-nation series in Ireland will be held. BCB has decided Khaled Mahmud Shujon to retain as the manager for the forthcoming tournaments as well. [নিউজটি বাংলায় পড়ুনঃ সুজনের উপরই আস্থা রাখছে বিসিবি] 

It's not the end: Bangladesh manager

Bangladesh Cricket Board President Nazmul Hasan Papon confirmed the news on Monday. “There is no chance for any new face for the Champions Trophy, he said. ”The team for the upcoming series will be declared on 19 April.”

Papon also said, “Khaled Mahmud will be the manager in the Champions Trophy and Tri-nation series and I think there is no chance for any new face in the team, only experienced performers will be selected.”

Former captain, BCB director and chairman of games development committee Khaled Mahmud has been serving as a manager since 2014. He was absent in the last two series but again he came back in the Sri-Lanka series.

India and New Zealand series were undergone of the logistic manager Sabbir Khan, manager of cricket operations. It was known that Khaled Mahmud has had difficulties with coach Hathurusingha at the beginning but now they are in good bonding.

The tri-ation series consists of Ireland, Bangladesh and New Zealand will be started from 12 May in Dublin. Mashrafe Bin Mortaza will captain Bangladesh in one day internationals. The Champions trophy will be started on 1st June. National team will leave Dhaka on 26th of April.
