Gazi Group post big after Mominul's career-best knock

The matches of the fourth round of the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) are going on today in three different venues. Batting first at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan Ground-3 in Savar, Gazi Group Cricketers posted a big total in the scoreboard, thanks to a big innings by Mominul Haque.
Although the start was not great for Gazi Group Cricketers as they lost their two openers within 5 overs of the innings, national team player Nasir Hossain and Mominul Haque tackled the situation together in the third wicket stand. Together they added 153 runs where Nasir contributed 64 runs, hitting seven fours and a six.
All-rounder Nasir Hossain had to go back to the pavilion after scoring 64 as spinner Arafat Sunny who has been in outstanding form so far in this season of the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) picked his wicket with a brilliant delivery.
But Mominul Haque’s brilliant century kept Gazi Group Cricketers on track with his 120- ball 152, clobbering sixteen fours and six sixes.
Afterwards, Parvez Rasool added 53 runs off 54 balls with later hitting, including three sixes which helped the side to post 307 before getting all-out in the 48th over.
For Prime Doleshwar, captain Farhad Reza picked up highest 4 wickets while another fast bowler Delwar Hossain bagged 3 wickets in his tally conceding 39 runs.
Earlier in the morning, Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club had won the toss and invited Gazi Groups Cricketer to bat first.
