According to the schedule the 1st match will be held before Eid-Ul-Fitr and other will be after Eid. Pakistan will also come on July to play a series in Mirpur, we hope to start an international match through Pakistan series or if not possible then through the Australia series.”
The repairing work of Mirpur stadium has started from beginning this year and hopefully half of work will be finished within coming July.
According to BCB ground and facilities Dept. the rest of the work will be finished on August.
Thereafter when Nizamuddin Chowdhury was asked where the Pakistan series will be held, he replied, “It will be decided on 22 April in the meeting for BCB board of directors. If we fail to prepare Mirpur before July, the Pakistan series will be arranged in Fatullah or Chittagong stadium and Sylhet stadium will be used as an alternative.”
