It was being speculated for last couple of days that the cutter master Mustafizur Rahman would come back to Dhaka on Tuesday to join with his rest of the national teammates to take the flight for England the next day. But no, Mustafizur is not coming home for the time being, as he has decided to stay in India to play the ongoing 10th edition of VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) for few more days. It has been learnt that Mustafizur will return home on May 3, and then he will leave for England on May 4. However, he will not be alone during the travel, as Shakib Al Hasan too will take the same flight as Mustafizur’s. Shakib will come back to Dhaka on May 4, and then after just a few hours, he will start his journey towards England.
To join his team Kolkata Knight Riders, Shakib directly headed to India after the completion of Bangladesh’s bilateral series against Sri Lanka. On the other hand, Mustafizur left the country to join Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 11. Both Shakib and Mustafizur have so far played on match for their respective teams, and were kept on the bench for most of the matches.
