Nasir Hossain is in sublime form in the ongoing Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPL). He has been consistently performing well for his team Gazi Group Cricketers with both bat and ball. After playing four matches, Nasir’s average is 226! Of the four innings’ he has played so far, Nasir got out just for once. On all other three occasions, he remained unbeaten. In four matches, Nasir hit one century and one half century. In the very first match, he played an unbeaten knock of 106 runs against Mohammedan. In the second match, he made 41 not-out off 32 balls. In the next match against Legends of Rupganj, he was unbeaten on 15 off 12 balls. He smacked a half century in the fourth match against Prime Doleshwar, making 64 runs before getting trapped to leg before by Arafat Sunny.
Thanks to Nasir’s outstanding all-round performance, his team Gazi Group Cricketers too are in good rhythm. Winning all four matches, they are currently leading the points table. They will face Abahani in their next game on April 29. But Nasir will be unavailable for the restof the matches due to nationa; team’s camp in Sussex, followed by the tri-nation series in Ireland.
