After quite a long lay-off, that of almost two and a half years, Syed Rasel has played competitive cricket for the Legends of Rupganj in the ongoing Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPL). The club had earned everyone’s praise when they signed the cricketer who had been out of the game for such a long time. And now in a recent match, they also gave Rasel the chance to get into the playing eleven.

However, Rasel couldn’t do anything of note in his return match. Bowling 4 overs, he gave away 18 runs but remained wicketless. Still the fast bowler is very happy with this performance, and he has expressed his satisfaction on the social media platforms.

Rasel played 6 Tests, 52 ODIs and 8 T20Is for Bangladesh.
