Playing against Kalabagan in BKSP, Tamim played a magnificent 157-run knock off just 125 balls. His innings featured as many as 18 fours and 7 sixes.
The Chittagong lad reached his first fifty off 61 balls, then made the second one off 41 balls, and then the third one off just 21 balls.
Now Tamim is the record holder of hitting the highest knock in a List ‘A’ match as a Bangladeshi batsman. The previous record also belonged to him, as he had made 154 in an ODI match against Zimbabwe in the year 2009.
To add to that, Tamim also reached the milestone of 7000 runs in List ‘A’ cricket. Thanks to Tamim’s brilliant three-figure knock, Mohammedan piled up a mammoth total of 307 runs for the loss of 9 wickets, and eventually won the match by 24 runs.
