Tigers to play 12 one-day matches in month long tour

Bangladesh national team has left the country for a 45-day long tour to play the tri-nation series in Ireland and the Champions Trophy in England. National team lead by Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has flew from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 1 am by Emirates Airlines on Thursday. Shakib Al Hasan and Mustafizur Rahman were not with the team. However, these two cricketers will join the team on 5th May. Bangladesh team will make a 10-day camp in England. After reaching England, Tigers will practice for three days. Then Bangladesh will play the first warm up match against Duke of Norfolk on 1st of May.

On 5 May, Tigers will play against Sussex in a warm up match. Mashrafe Bin Mortaza’s team will go to Ireland on 7th May after completing the camp in England.

Bangladesh will play a practice match in Ireland before the tri-series begins. As per the schedule of the tri-nation series, Bangladesh will face Ireland on May 12, May 17 Opponent – New Zealand, May 19 – Opponent Ireland, May 24 – Opponent New Zealand.

Bangladesh team will return to England on May 25 after finishing the tri-nation series. National team will play two warm-up matches before the start of the ICC Champions Trophy. The first one against Pakistan on May 27 and second one against India on May 30.

Tigers will play on the opening day of the Champions Trophy.

On 1 June the opponent England, 5th June Opponent Australia, 9 June opponent New Zealand.
