A friendly T20 match was arranged on Friday in Bahrain on the occasion of their national day, where lots of International star cricketers were participated. After batting first, Mishbah Eagles posted a massive total of 244 runs after 20 overs. Skipper Misbah Ul Haq smashed a stormy hundred by thrashing the bowlers of opponent side. He played a total number of 10 sixes to score quick firing 121 runs in just 38 balls.
Alongside Misbah’s blistering knock, former Pakistani cricketer and one of the hard-hitter batsmen of world cricket, Shahid Afridi also played a cameo knock against the Falcons. He could not smash a century but scored firing 79 runs off 49 balls with 5 massive over boundaries. Ahmed grabbed two wickets for his side.
Chasing a big total, Irfan Falcons got brilliant start but they could not touch the landmark as they finished their innings on 175 runs for losing 4 wickets after 20 overs. Marlon Samuels played superbly and scored 69 runs off 33 balls with 5 boundaries.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Ashraful, the former captain of Bangladesh also shone some class with the bat. He scored 44 runs for his side Irfan Falcons against Misbah Eagles. Rana Naveed, Misbah and Sohail Tanvir all the three Pakistani bowlers bagged one wicket each in their pocket and helped their team to secure a victory of 69 runs.
