Bangladesh reach to England safely 

A hopeful Bangladesh cricket team led by Mashrafe Bin Mortaza have reached to England safely, a few hours ago, ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. Bangladesh’s performance in the recently concluded tri-nation series was very impressive as they lost only one match out of four. They also moved their position up to number six in the ODI ranking after beating New Zealand in the last game of the tournament, on Wednesday. [বাংলায় পড়ুনঃ নিরাপদে ইংল্যান্ড পৌঁছেছে মাশরাফিরা]

On the other hand all-rounder Nasir Hossain and fast bowler Subashis Roy who were included in the Champions Trophy squad as stand-by players, are scheduled to come hack to Bangladesh. But wicket-keeper batsman Nurul Hasan Sohan will stay with the team as in case Mushfiqur Rahim gets injured.

However, Bangladesh are scheduled to play two practice matches before the start of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. In the first practice match, they will face struggling Pakistan team, on May 27. Bangladesh will take on the defending ICC Champions Trophy champions in their second practice game on May 30, a day before the first game of the tournament.

The Tigers will kick off their Champions Trophy mission on June 1 as they are scheduled to take on the hosts England in the high voltage opening match.
