After winning the toss at the CENTRAL County Ground Sussex asked Bangladesh to bat first. Bangladesh lost Soumya Sarkar early but Imrul Kayes and Sabbir Rahman helped Tigers to make a comeback strongly.
This two batsmen added 100 plus runs in the second wicket partnership. Imrul brought up century in 45 balls with the help of 8 fours. While Sabbir Rahman also got his half-century by smashing 7 fours and 1 six. Sabbir Rahman departed when Bangladesh were 139 runs. Then Mushfiqur Rahim and Imrul Kayes made partnership.
After scoring 92 runs Imrul retired and gave the oppurtunity to his team mates to bat. Eventually, Bangladesh lost some quick wickets as Mosaddek Hossain (7), Nasir Hossain and Mushfiqur Rahim got out. After their departure at a stage Bangladesh lost 5 wickets in the 36th overs when Tigers were 216 runs. Then Nurul hasan and Mehedi Hasan Miraz took the responsibility on their shoulders.
They put a partnership 56 runs in sixth wicket stand. Sohan was sent back to the pavilion on 22. Later on Miraz brought up half-century and by helped Bangladesh to set a decent total on the board. He was remained unbeaten on 60. To score those runs he played 4 fours and 2 sixes.
