In reply of Bangladesh innings of 345 runs, Duke of Norfolk XI also got a fine start. Both openers of the hosts dominated and put a stand of 101 runs in 18 overs. When they started to become more dangerous rain interrupted the match. Due to heavy rain, it became unable to further play. Hence, match officials decided to finish the match without any possible result.
Earlier, after winning the toss, Bangladesh Mushfiqur Rahim the in charge skipper of today’s match decided to bat first. Both openers Kayes and Soumya gave Bangladesh a fine start. Kayes scored 44 but Soumya brought up fifty and scored 73 runs.

Then Nasir and Mushfiq took the responsibility and gave a foundation to set a massive total on the board. Nasir scored 26 but Mushfiq was outstanding. He smashed century in just 83 balls. He was supported by Mehedi Hasan Miraz who scored crucial 31 runs.
In the next 15 balls Mushfiq added another quick 34 runs as Bangladesh got a massive total of 345 runs for losing 7 wickets after 50 overs.
