BCB will not send HP team to Pakistan as scheduled

Pakistan Cricket Team were scheduled to tour Bangladesh in July to play two Tests, Three ODIs and a T20I match. But few days ago, all of a sudden the PCB chairman told the media that they would not send their team to Bangladesh as the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had not agreed not send it’s national team to Pakistan.

However the BCB had promised to send the High Performance squad to Pakistan instead but now the cricket board has decided to not send the HP team as per the previous schedule in December, after Shahryar Khan’s sudden announcement of not sending their team.

“We haven’t spoken about going to Pakistan since we heard their decision from the media. The national team (undertaking a trip to Pakistan) is out of the question. Our HP or U-19 (teams) might have gone there but when they made this announcement, we are no longer in talks. After this, there is no question of talking about the HP tour,” Nazmul Hassan said on Saturday.

In  the meantime the BCB boss also informed that they would send the HP team to any other country on that time. Even they have already confirmed programs with two cricket board.

“They will go elsewhere. We have confirmed programs with New Zealand and England. We are in talks with two more countries. Within a couple of months, we will be releasing the specific schedules. Many of these series will be held at home,” he concluded.
