CA offers new deal to top Aussie cricketers alluring to leave IPL As per the latest proceedings in Down Under, Cricket Australia has offered a new long term contract to its most valuable star cricketers with an aim to deviate the mind set of front row cricketers from the rich cavity of the Indian Premier League. The new contract would be three years long instead of usual one year and it goes to five top most Aussie performers David Warner, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazelwood and Pat Cummins.

The offer is, however, a clear terms of exchange for cricketers for not to go an IPL round in a year.

Steve Smith captains Rising Pune Supergiants and David Warner is leading Sunrisers Hyderabad. Warner played key role in Sunrisers Hyderabad’s title claim back in 2016.

Apart from the fee cricketers receive to play the tournament which is more than 1$ million, players also sign contract with advertisers. Warner is estimated to be worth $2 million but could easily make close to a whopping $10 million in next three years of the tournament.

Mitchell Starc, who pulled out of the tournament prior to its start, is also one of the top earners from the cash rich privy. Under the new pay role, Starc could gain up to $3 million from a season of IPL.

CA’s newly re – signed Executive General Manager for Team Performance, Pat Howard made the new approaches which have come with the governing body and the Australian Cricketers Association.

According to a report of Sydney Morning Herald, the new offer has not yet been on the line of acceptance from players association.
