Although Bangladesh never had won a match against New Zealand in different conditions, they had whitewashed the Blackcaps two times in their own condition.
After Bangladesh team’s practice session at the Clontarf Cricket Club ground in Dublin, on Tuesday, Mashrafe talked with the media ahead of the match tomorrow.
However, the conditions in Ireland is very much different from the conditions they are used to playing of. Mashrafe also admitted that but he has positive faith on his side’s ability.
“Of course the conditions matter, but we believe in our ability and the bowlers and the top order batsmen that we have, if they keep faith in their skills then something good can happen hopefully,” confident Mashrafe told the reporters.
The 33-year-old experienced Bangladesh captain also hinted of not many changes in Bangladesh’s playing XI for tomorrow’s match, “There won’t be many changes. What may happen is that I will come in as captain and there will be a change for that. We have not discussed it yet.”
