England have a little too much fire power for Bangladesh – Harsha Bhogle

Harsha Bhogle thinks England will win against Bangladesh

Harsha Bhogle, the famous Indian commentator and a well wisher of Bangladesh cricket has picked England as the probable winner against Bangladesh in tomorrow’s match.

In a recently uploaded video in Cricbuzz, Harsha Bhogle discussed about the first match of the Champions Trophy, which is Bangladesh vs England. Bangladesh are going to begin their ICC Champions Trophy 2017 campaign tomorrow when they take on the hosts England. The match is set to take place in the famous Kennington Oval stadium, London. In the video Harsha bhogle pointed out the Oval is a high run scoring ground. He thinks that the English side has too much artillery in their batting lineup for Bangladesh to overcome.

“It suggests to me that batsmen will enjoy playing here. Jason Roy has hit a 160 plus score in this ground, England have hit 398 in an ODI in this ground. Inspite of England’s little batting stumble in the last ODI against South Africa you get the feeling that they probably have little too much artillery, little too much firepower to take against Bangladesh.” said Bhogle.

He also said that Bangladesh has troubled England when there has been something in the pitch for the slower bowlers. But the pitch in the Oval is unlikely to have anything for the spinners. That’s why he feels England are going to come out on top in their upcoming fixture.

England have been playing fearless aggressive cricket in the shorter formats after their early departure from 2015’s world cup, courtesy to an upset defeat to Bangladesh. The Oval has been a lucky ground for England as they have won 8 of their last 10 ODI’s in this ground. So the odds are definitely stacked against Bangladesh.
