Haris Sohail, who has been included in the Pakistan team in place of Umar Akmal has vowed to give his hundred percent when his team will meet arch – rival India in the high voltage Pool B game in the ICC Champions Trophy at Birmingham.
The 28 year old Haris is happy to come back in the team who last played for Pakistan in 2015 when Zimbabwe visited Pakistan.
“I will try my best to play my role in the team’s success. Every player wishes to perform well against India. If I get a chance to play against India, I will surely try my best to put up a good performance against them” – Haris Sohail said as quoted by Express Tribune.
Haris Sohail so far played 22 one day international match for his country scoring 774 runs at an average of 43 and bagged four wickets as a left arm spinner.
Earlier Umar Akmal was axed from the ICC Champions Trophy team of Pakistan after he failed in two fitness Tests during the tournament preparation camp in Birmingham.
