Kalabagan, Sheikh and Brothers shine in 10th round of DPL

Kalabagan Krira Chakra, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club and Brothers Union came victorious in the second day of 10th round in the ongoing season of Dhaka Premier League (DPL).

Having been asked to bat first at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan Ground-3 in Savar, Junaid Siddique’s second century in the season helped Brothers Union to post 276 for 8 in the scoreboard.

Chasing 277, Mohammedan kept losing wickets in a regular interval from the beginning of their innings and finally saw the end of their innings after scoring only 147 in 35.4 overs. Sajjad Rony took highest four wickets for Brothers Union.

Batting first at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan Ground-3 in Savar, Prime Bank Cricket Club posted a healthy total of 270 runs, thanks to Mehedi Maruf and Easwaran for their fifty plus knocks.

Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club chased the target in the second last ball of the match after a brilliant team performance from the batsmen.

Gazi Group Cricketers vs Kalabagan Krira Chakra :

At Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah, Kalabagan Krira Chakra thrashed Gazi Group Cricketers by 10 wickets. Spinner Sanjit Saha led Kalabagan Krira Chakra bowling attack by picking up three wickets conceding only 7 runs.

Earlier, in the morning, Tasamul Haque smashed a century which helped Kalabagan to post 222 in the scoreboard.
