Khawaja farewells horror India tour with a hilarious tweet

Australian opener Usman Khawaja has been in India since last four months but did not get any opportunity to play a single match. He came to India four months back with Australian Cricket Team for their 4-match Test series against India. After the end of the tour Khawaja joined Rising Pune Supergiant for IPL 10. Despite being paid $195,000 for his services, Khawaja was nothing but a glorified water boy in the recently concluded Indian Premiere League (IPL) as he was overlooked for every single game of Rising Pune Supergiant in the exciting T20 tournament.

The 30-year-old dashing opener had to serve on the sidelines even during his national team’s tour as he was not picked in any of Australia’s four Tests against India. Trying to take a dig at the same, Usman Khawaja wrote that there was high-quality water in India – indicating that he was serving drinks for 4 months this season in India.

In reply his two of the Aussie team mates did not miss the chance of trolling him for that.

“Had a great time in India for the last 4 months! Sad way 2 finish the IPL but had a great time @punesupergiants. #highqualityh2o #india #ipl,” Usman Khawaja tweeted.
