He reached in Dhaka around at 11 pm in Bangladesh standard time. Then, he starts his journey towards the hospital at 11.45 pm. Now, he is on the way to the hospital to see his better half ‘Sumona Haque’ and son ‘Sahel’ who are sick and admitted in City hospital.
Earlier, at the evening of Sunday, it was known that Mashrafe Mortaza had decided to return in Bangladesh from Sussex where the conditioning the camp is going on. With the help of his family, it was also known that Mashrafe decided to return Bangladesh for the sickness of his wife but also his son.
Later, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has also confirmed this news. “He has returned due to a family emergency. His wife was admitted to a city hospital on Saturday and he decided to come visit her. We are in touch with Mashrafe and his family and the board is supporting them in every way possible.” informed BCB director Jalal Yunus.
He also informed that if everything is going well then he will join with the team o May 4. “The fact that he has had to return to Dhaka goes to show that this is a serious matter and we are giving it our utmost importance. If everything goes according to plan, he will return on May 4,” he further added.
