Bangladesh team is now full of stars. Each and everyone of the team has the ability to turn a match on its head, and if they all can be at their best, it won’t be impossible for Bangladesh to do well in the impending ICC Champions Trophy 2017 in England and Wales.
But when Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza was asked which youngster would be Bangladesh’s biggest asset if they are to gain positive results in the Champions Trophy, Mashrafe named not one but two, and they are Mustafizur Rahman and Sabbir Rahman.
“I don’t want to specifically highlight any single player,” said Mashrafe. “Everyone in the team is contributing to the team’s cause. No matter if they are seniors or juniors.
“But it would be inappropriate to expect similar kind of form from Mustafizur what he did against India (in June, 2015). Now everyone knows him. Every team has its own plan about Mustafizur. The same can be said about Sabbir as well. It’s known to everyone how fond of he is about playing shots.
“Every team will have its own homework about these two players, and will come up with definite plans against them. Still at the end of the day, these two are our match winners. If they can execute what they have inside them, no match is impossible for us to win,” concluded Mashrafe.
