Mashrafe has 230 wickets in 175 ODIs, and 42 wickets in 53 T20Is. He also had taken 78 Test wickets in 36 matches before his longest-format career came to a sudden halt owing to injury.
Mashrafe took two wickets in the game against New Zealand on 24 May. He grabbed his first wicket in the 42th over of the innings and his 8th, when he removed James Neesham. Then in the next over he got rid of Collin Munro to bring up his 350th international wicket.
The first Bangladeshi bowler to have picked up 350 wickets in international cricket is Shakib Al Hasan. He now has 470 wickets to his name, and he is just 30 wickets away from the glowing 500-wicket mark. The maverick all-rounder has 224 ODI wickets, 176 Test wickets and 70 T20 wickets.
