Mashrafe on the way to Ireland

Mashrafe Mortaza, the one day skipper of Bangladesh cricket team who returned Bangladesh from the conditioning camp on 30 April due to his family emergency, left Dhaka again today. [বাংলায় পড়ুনঃ সাসেক্স নয় সরাসরি আয়ারল্যান্ডে যাচ্ছেন মাশরাফি]

It has been learnt that he starts his journey aiming to join the team again tonight around at 10.30 pm in local time.

According to a reliable source of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) it is also learnt, this time Mashrafe won’t travel to Sussex. He will join with Tigers squad in Ireland on 7 May heading to the tri – nation series which is going to underway from 12 May with the clash of Bangladesh and hosts Ireland.

To be noted, Bangladesh will play four matches in tri – nation series.  Mashrafe Mortaza will miss the first match of the tournament due to his one match suspension.

At the end of the tri – nation series Bangladesh will fly to England to participate in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. Bangladesh will play three- group stage matches on 1, 5 and 9 June against England, Australia and New Zealand respectively. Before the kick off of the tournament Bangladesh will be played two warm-up matches as well. Tigers will take on India on 27 May and Pakistan on 30 May in the warm-up games ahead of the Champions Trophy.
