Both cricketers from the Chittagong division did their individual feat in the ongoing Dhaka Premier League (DPL). However, the Cox’s Bazaar lad Mominul is not happy with his performance,as he said that he will try to fill up his expectation what he misses to do in the first phase of the DPL.

“I am not satisfied with my performance what so far I played in the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) because I was out having set in the wickets in a string of innings. If I could convert them into century, it would since be better,” said Mominul.

Mominul further added, “On these wickets, I should score 500-600 runs from 11 matches in the first phase of the DPL. In that sense, I could not score more runs. So I am not happy. It would be better if I make it. We have still seven matches I’ll try to cover it up.”

Before their surprise defeat at the hands of the underdogs Kalabagan Krira Chakra, the diminutive batsman said that they all expect to continue their unbeaten run as much as possible.

“Since the team is making good result, we are enjoying it. It seems good to me also. It is that we’re doing well so the team is doing well also,” Mominul said.

“We did not concede any defeat up to 9th round. So every body in the team and club has good expectation to continue the tempo as much as possible.

“We’ve seven matches ahead. So, it’s tough to say we’ll be able to keep it intact or slip any of them,” he also added.

Mominul also had nothing in his mind but if had the belief in him that if he could bat till all 50 overs, then his score would definitely be better than 150 in most cases.

“I never express my feeling in that way. At that time, it was needed to perform for the team as some quick wickets were fallen. I’ve tried to play for the team till 40-50 overs though I could not play 50 overs. But if I could play 50 overs, the score would then be better than 150.”
