Prince Charles inaugurates ICC Champions Trophy - 2017 His Royale Highness Prince of Wales Charles Arthur George has inaugurated ICC Champions Trophy, 2017 at the Oval in London, May 25, 2017.

He met with the winners of Youth Cricket Competition during the ceremony and other cricket dignitaries as well. The tournament of young cricketers had been held ahead of the launching ceremony of ICC Champions Trophy.

Children participated in the tournament wearing jerseys of all eight participating teams in the ICC Champions Trophy.

Richards Thompson, the Chairman of Surrey County Club welcomed Prince of Wales in the occasion at the Oval in London which is one of the venues of ICC Champions Trophy.

Later, Prince Charles signed a cricket bat which will be donated for charity work. He also talked with volunteers who will be marshalling all through the prestigious ICC tournament. The volunteers are termed as ‘cricketeers’ in England for the particular occasion.

Festive atmosphere have been prevailing in England after the gorgeous launching of the tournament.
