“I did not have much turn in my bowling earlier. Everything is similar like by old self but now I have made two things better- I have been turning it better and the ball dribbles more in the air. That is the achievement of my new action,” he said at Bangladesh Cricket Board academy on Wednesday.

The left-arm spinner knew that he must had to adopt to new action quickly.

“It was tough for me initially to bowl with the new action. But cricket is my livelihood and I knew I must adopt quickly.

“Fortunately, after the remodeling of my action I played two NCL games that did not have over restrictions and I bowled around 80 overs in that matches that helped me a lot.”

Sunny has been out of the national team after World T20 2016. He is not frustrated, rather he wishes the best for Bangladesh in the Champions Trophy 2017.

“I am not frustrated at all. It is very normal for a cricketer. One may enter and exit from the team that is normal.

“I was out from the team for my suspected action but if I can perform well and keep taking wickets I may come back into the side. I pray that our team do well in the Champions Trophy,” he added.
