Sarfaraz wants to give an Eid gift to the fans

So Team Pakistan will definitely be desperate to win the tournament this year. The kind of expectations that the team is carrying only adds up to the spirit of the players. Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed is eager to get on the drawing board for the upcoming edition of the Champions Trophy. At the recent media interaction, Sarfraz spoke briefly about the plans of his team in the mega tournament.

As Pakistan are currently ranked number eight in the ODI ranking, Pakistan skipper Sarfraz remarked that they have nothing to lose with the tag of number 8th team. So they want to give a good fight in every match playing fearless cricket.

“We are ranked 8th, so we have nothing to lose here, but I’m very hopeful and the team will give a good fight in every match,” quoted Sarfraz Ahmed as per the quotes in Geo Tv.

However, Sarfaraz wants feel the test of winning the tournament for the first time and he believes it will be a great gift for the fans ahead of the Eid Ul Fitre.

“The tournament is being played in Ramazan and it’s a good opportunity for us to give the nation an Eid gift by winning the tournament. We haven’t won this tournament yet, this can be the first time,” he concluded.

To be noted, Team Pakistan will start their Champions Trophy campaign against arch-rivals India on June 4 at Birmingham.
