The number one all-rounder in the world cricket Shakib Al Hasan has reached his 50th match as Bangladesh cricket team captain. He is leading the side in their first match in the tri nation series in Ireland which also has earned him the milestone of half century as captain for the Men in Red and Green. Shakib Al Hasan who is his deputy is performing the responsibility of captaincy as a result. But the all-rounder has failed to make his landmark more memorable as he is dismissed for only 14 runs in the match.
Former captain Kazi Habibul Bashar Sumon has leaded the Bangladesh Cricket team in most number of One Day internationals. The right handed batsman leaded the side in 69 matches, in which 29 matches were won by his boys.
On the other side, Shakib Al Hasan in has won 23 matches as captain in his 49 previous matches. Whereas, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has won one more than his team mate, winning 24 matches out of 41 One Day internationals as the captain of Bangladesh Cricket team.
