Taijul tries hard to be in ODI squad Taijul Islam, after proving himself as one of the automated choices in Test cricket for Bangladesh, is putting concentrated trials to make a place in one day international team of the country.

Claiming 21 wickets in 9 matches of Dhaka Premier League, Taijul has illustrated his ability in limited over games as well.

Providing interviews with one of the leading dailies, Taijul told his struggle to reserve a place in the limited over games, “I play approximately all Test matches for Bangladesh, and at least I was in the squad which I could not do in one day cricket.”

“I was in the team against Afghanistan later being dropped once again. Before that I played a single match in 2015 World Cup. I was determined to show up my skill in limited over matches as well before the commencement of this season’s premier league. You can see I have good records in longer version matches in domestic cricket; so why I can’t do that in limited over matches. It is challenge now” – Taijul Islam said.

The 25 year old left arm orthodox bowler Taijul Islam played just 5 one day international matches and took 5 wickets.

“I always work hard. Perhaps it did not work out all the time. But now I’m gaining some privileges of my perseverance” – said Taijul.
