Nafisa Kamal promises to build stadium in Comilla

Miss Nafisa Kamal, younger daughter of former BCB president AHM Mustafa Kamal as well as one of the owners of the Bangladesh Premier League’s (BPL’s) franchise team Comilla Victorians has announced again on Wednesday, that her franchise are planning to build a stadium in Comilla City.

In a program on Wednesday, Nafisa Kamal told, “We have always tried to bring the talented and young players upfront and we have worked hard for that. Hopefully, we will keep trying to do that with providing better facilities in near future and thus, we will have many stars from Comilla.”

She further added, “Apart from that, very soon we will build an International standard stadium in Comilla. After that, we will have more talented local players in our team.”

To be noted, earlier after the end of last year’s BPL, Nafeesa Kamal had made an announcement of building a stadium in her hometown, Comilla. Then the planning minister AHM Mustafa Kamal asked the local District Sports Association to do all the formalities that is needed to build the stadium in Comilla.

The franchise officials also informed the news on that time to their fans through the verified facebook page of Comilla Victorians.

However, according to some sources the proposed cricket stadium is likely to have a capacity of around almost twenty thousands for the crowd.
