Bangladesh registered a massing win over Ireland by 8 wickets with 137 balls in hand in the fourth match of Walton Tri-nation ODI series at Dublin. Soumya Sarkar played a winning knock of 87 off just 68 with 11 fours and 2 massive sixes.
Earlier Mustafizur Rahman’s brilliant 4-four wicket haul helped Bangladesh to all-out the host nation, Ireland on 181 in the fourth match of the ongoing tri-nation series in Dublin.
Having been asked to bat first at Malahide Cricket Club, Ireland had a poor start, loosing their opener Paul Stirling in the second over of the innings, before scoring any run. Mustafizur Rahman was the bowler who gave Bangladesh the first breakthrough.
Ed Joyce and Porterfield added 37 runs in the first wicket stand but Mosaddek Hossain did not let them grow as he picked up Porterfield in the ninth of over of the match. Shakib Al Hasan took Andy Balbirnie in the fifteenth over.
