Bangladesh and Australia has shared one point each after torrential Birmingham downpour forced to abandon the match in ICC Champions Trophy at Oval tonight. This is the second match of both teams in the tournament.
Australia scored 83 for the loss of 1 wicket at 16 overs when first phase of rain stopped play. Several hours after that rain seemed ceased down a bit and the covers were taken off but soon it was spoiled one more time.
Eventually the match was officially called off at around 2.30 Bangladesh Standard Time.
Earlier Bangladesh batted first and threw a target of 182 runs in 44.3 overs losing all wickets. Tamim Iqbal scored highest 95 runs.
