Morgan eyes beating Australia

England captain Eoin Morgan has informed that England will come hard against their arch-rivals Australia on Saturday in their last group stage game in Championss Trophy.

England have already qualified for the Semi-finals after beating Bangladesh by eight wickets and New Zealand by 87 runs. They are the first team to seal Semi-final spot. They are set to take on Ashes rival Australia in their next game.

Australia have got only two points from two washouts against New Zealand and Bangladesh. It might be a pressure-free game for England, but it will be a do-or-die match for the Aussies. The English captain Morgan wants to knock Australia out.

“We will have a very serious attitude and we never take any position for granted. If we are truly going to be contenders for this tournament we need to beat the best teams and Australia are among the best teams in white ball tournaments. To go into a game like that with no attitude other than winning is very important to us,” he said.

If Australia lose, the winner of Bangladesh-New Zealand match on Friday will go through to Semis.
