Pakistan’s veteran campaigner Shoaib Malik, who will step into the field for his 250th one day international match for the country on Monday, would be one of the key figures for the team to handle the crucial big game pressure.
Shoaib Malik’s wife eminent Indian tennis player Sania Mirza has paid tribute to his life partner on his 250th ODI appearance for the country. Shoaib made his ODI debut back in 1999 against West Indies.
She said, “It shows his commitment to Pakistan and to cricket. I have always known him as someone with full of passion for playing and for representing his country.”
“It’s a proud moment for all of us, for his mother, for his brother and sisters and for myself too. We are very proud of him for everything he has achieved” – she said.
