Virender Sehwag again pounced on the opportunity to belittle Bangladesh.

Sehwag tweeted, “Well tried Pote. Great effort to reach semis.Ghar ki hi baat hai. Father’s Day par Bete ke saath final hai. Mazaak ko serious mat liyo bete.”

Here he labeled Bangladesh as India’s grandson and Pakistan as India’s son. This is also not the first time he has done something like this. Even during the practice match between Bangladesh and India ahead of the Champions Trophy, Sehwag had said that Bangladesh is India’s ‘Pota'(grandson)in the Star Sports Hindi commentary.

When India had defeated South Africa and reached the semis, Sehwag wished the Indian side good luck for the finals even before winning the semifinal.

The 2nd semifinal of the Champions Trophy took place today at Edgbaston, between Bangladesh and India. Indian skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and sent Bangladesh to bat first. Bangladesh ended up with 264/7 after the completion of 50 overs. Tamim Iqbal was highest scorer for Bangladesh with 70 runs off 82 deliveries. This total seemed to be below par against India’s strong batting lineup. And India chased the total down with 9 wickets in hand and 9.5 overs to spare. Rohit Sharma top scored with 123*.

Now India and Pakistan will play each other in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. The match will take place on June 18, at Kennington Oval, London.
