Tamim may have scored a duck in Bangladesh’s last match of the group phase against New Zealand. Still he is the third highest run-scorer of the tournament. With a brilliant 128 against England followed by another 95 against Australia, Tamim has so far gathered 223 runs to his name which puts him just behind India’s Shikhar Dhawan and New Zealand’s Kane Williamson.

And now, thanks to the extraordinary tough h has been of late, Tamim has also made his way into Cricket Australia’s Team of the Champions Trophy XI (so far).
