Bangladesh are considering playing four pacers in their third and last group game of the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2017 against New Zealand on Friday, revealed captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza in the pre-match press conference on Thursday.
Asked what he felt about the wicket, the Narail Express said, “There is still a good amount of grass on the wicket. But I am not sure. Maybe they will cut them of tomorrow morning. Actually you don’t know before the start of the game.” [নিউজটি বাংলায় পড়ুনঃ নিউজিল্যান্ডের বিপক্ষে বাংলাদেশের সেরা একাদশ]

But it has been learnt that there could be some major changes in the playing XI of the all-important match. Expecting good bounce on the pitch, the team management is thinking of playing pacer Taskin Ahmed in this match. But istead of making Taskin the replacement of another pacer, they are considering bringing him in to replace spinner Mehedi Hasan Miraz.

There is the possibility of one more change in the team. That Imrul Kayes could make way for Mosaddek Hossain Saikat was the latest rumor being speculated within the Bangladesh team management.

Bangladesh got many success in 2015 playing with four pacers – Mashrafe, Mustafizur Rahman, Rubel Hossain and Taskin. And now with the team management thinking of bringing all these four once again in the same match, it is very much possible for Bangladesh to repeat the same success they got in 2015, and by beating New Zealand they could also remain alive in the competition.

Bangladesh (probable) 1 Tamim Iqbal, 2 Soumya Sarkar, 3 Imrul Kayes, 4 Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), 5 Mahmudullah, 6 Shakib Al Hasan, 7 Mosaddek Hossain, 8 Mehedi Hasan/Taskin Ahmed, 9 Mashrafe Mortaza (capt), 10 Rubel Hossain, 11 Mustafizur Rahman

New Zealand (probable) 1 Martin Guptill, 2 Luke Ronchi (wk), 3 Kane Williamson (capt), 4 Ross Taylor, 5 Neil Broom, 6 James Neesham, 7 Corey Anderson, 8 Mitchell Santner, 9 Adam Milne, 10 Tim Southee, 11 Trent Boult
